News: What We’re Building Next: A Peek Into Our Wishlist & Dreams
Community-rooted care. Collective imagination. A shared vision for the future.
At the Coalition, we believe mental health support should be visible, trusted, and part of everyday life, not something people only seek out in crisis.
That’s why we’re not just focused on what’s happening today. We’re also tending to what comes next. With insight from staff, community members, partners, and people with lived experience, we’ve been shaping a shared vision we call our Wishlist & Dreams.
We envision a Teton Valley where everyone is connected to love and care, and mental wellness is a shared community value.
Some pieces of that vision are already in motion. Others are just beginning. But all of them move us toward a more connected, caring future.
Why a Wishlist?
In rural places like ours, traditional mental health systems don’t always reach everyone. So we want to build something better together, through creativity, collaboration, and care.
Our Wishlist & Dreams is more than a list. It’s a living vision. A practical, imaginative blueprint for what becomes possible when we center belonging, access, and wellbeing.
It’s not about doing more.
It’s about doing it differently.
Together.
What We’re Growing
Here’s a glimpse of what’s taking shape:
🧡 A youth mental health leadership council where teens guide peer support in their own voice
💛 A grief and loss network offering rituals, peer tools, and steady support through the seasons
🧡 Peer-led navigation and care that centers lived experience and trust
💛 Mental health tools in outdoor spaces because the trail can be a place for healing too
🧡 A traveling storytelling couch to lift up local voices and spark connection
💛 A post-crisis resource pack with grounding tools and simple next steps when support is needed most
And many more ideas designed to meet people where they are gently, creatively, and without judgment.
What Makes This Work Different
We’re not just adding programs.
We’re reimagining how care shows up.
In shared spaces.
At school, on the trail, at community events.
Led by peers. Rooted in relationship. Built with, not just for, the people who need it.
We believe mental health support can be practical and imaginative.
Relational and accessible.
Grounded in the everyday and guided by hope.
This summer, the Tin Cup Challenge offers one opportunity to help this vision grow.
If you’re inspired by what we’re building, we invite you to be part of it. Whether that means giving, sharing, showing up, or dreaming alongside us, your presence matters.
