Mid-Year Impact: How You’ve Been a Lifeline in 2025

As summer sets in and the Tin Cup Challenge approaches, we’ve been reflecting on all the good your support has made possible—and the lives it’s already touched.

Here at the Coalition, we often say that mental health support isn’t just about services—it’s about people. It’s about showing up when someone feels overwhelmed, lost, or alone.

And thanks to you, that’s exactly what we’ve been able to do.

💚 Your Support Has Already Made a Big Impact

  • 665 individual points of contact through counseling, resource connection, and emotional support

  • 133 free counseling sessions for neighbors who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford care

  • 227 community members trained in mental health skills—from burnout prevention to suicide intervention

  • 17 community events attended, making mental health more visible and accessible

  • New outreach efforts launched, including Emotional First Aid Stands and a hybrid education event featuring national emotional health expert Dr. Guy Winch (Watch the replay HERE)

Every number represents a moment of care—and often, the beginning of a lifeline.

🛠️ One Story: Real Help, Right When It Was Needed

Earlier this spring, a local family reached out in the middle of a crisis. They were navigating multiple stressors, a language barrier, and the fear that they wouldn’t be able to get help.

Because of you, we were able to coordinate immediate support with the Family Safety Network and the Community Resource Center. Our team helped them create a safety plan, connect to longer-term care, and—most importantly—reminded them they weren’t alone.

That’s what it means to be a lifeline—meeting people where they are, with compassion, skill, and support.

🎉 What’s Next: Be a Lifeline With Us This Summer

This summer, we’re inviting the entire community to Be a Lifeline with us.

You’ll see us out and about with Chatty, our new mascot, reminding folks that Band-Aids don’t fix everything—but connection, care, and community can.

Chatty will be making appearances at events, popping up in your social media feed, and spreading smiles all around town. They’re here to show that mental health support doesn’t have to be scary or clinical—it can be human, hopeful, and even a little fun.

📅 Coming Up:

We hope you’ll stop by, say hi, and help us spread the word: Be a Lifeline.

You’ve Already Made a Difference

Whether you’ve given, volunteered, shared a resource, or simply opened up more about mental health—you’re part of a movement that’s changing lives.

Thank you for being a lifeline—for your neighbors, for this valley, and for the future we’re building together.

With so much love,
The MHC Team
