EVENT: The Care Behind the Chair: A Gathering for Teton Valley’s Professional Service Providers
Care doesn’t only happen in counseling offices.
It happens in salons.
In massage rooms.
In treatment spaces.
In barbershops.
It happens in everyday appointments and conversations.
If your work involves one-on-one client relationships, you know how meaningful those moments can be.
The Coalition works to promote mental health in our community through education, advocacy, and connection to resources. One way we do that is by bringing people together and strengthening our community’s web of care.
On March 24th, from 4 to 6 PM at Lula Wine Bar, we are hosting The Care Behind the Chair, a gathering for professional service providers across Teton Valley.
Hair stylists.
Nail techs.
Massage therapists.
Estheticians.
Physical therapists.
Barbers.
Trainers.
Wellness providers.
People in these roles often build meaningful relationships with the people they see every day. This evening is a chance to recognize that and bring those professionals together.
This is not a formal training.
It is simply a space to connect with others who understand the relational side of this work.
Light appetizers will be provided.
We will offer a brief welcome at 5 PM.
The rest of the evening is time to gather and connect.
Support for mental health happens in the everyday places where people already have trusted relationships.
Gatherings like this help strengthen the network of trusted adults who support wellbeing across our community. This event is part of a growing effort to build a stronger Care Network in Teton Valley.
In the months ahead, we’ll also be offering optional short trainings for service providers who want to learn more about supporting mental health in their everyday work. This gathering is simply a place to start.
We would love to see you there.
If you know someone who works in a one-on-one service setting, please feel free to share this invitation.
