2026 Fall Donor Impact Report

2026 Fall Donor Impact Report
SOME DAYS NEED A LITTLE EXTRA WARMTH.
So far in 2026, you’ve made sure more people in Teton Valley have it. Here’s what that’s looked like this year.

BY THE NUMBERS
As of October 1, 2026
In a valley with about one mental health clinician for every 700 residents, finding care isn’t always easy. Your support helps close that gap, one session, one conversation, and one training at a time.
413
Counseling sessions funded
Up from 343 in 2025
Paying for counseling through our Community Counseling Fund, so money isn’t what stands between someone and care.
356
People connected to care
Helping people find a counselor who fits, sort out insurance, and make a plan for themselves or someone they love.
1,574
People reached across the valley
Building the skills and language to care for themselves and each other, through trainings, support groups, and our Education Series.
In their words
Having this resource available to me was a lifesaver. A safe person to trust is vital. Ever so grateful.
One community member reached out to us while carrying depression, anxiety, and hard circumstances, and feeling close to a breakdown. We connected them with a local counselor right away, and the Community Counseling Fund covered their sessions. In a safe, judgment-free space, they worked through what they were feeling and left with real tools to cope.
Your gifts made every one of those sessions possible.
Off the couch, into the community
Mental health care doesn’t only happen in an office. This year, we showed up where people already are: the Farmers Market, Music on Main, schools, workplaces, and community events. We brought trainings like Emotional First Aid, Suicide Prevention 101, and Stress Continuum & Resilience right to them.

Where your gifts go
Every dollar you give goes to caring for Teton Valley. In 2025, we ran on $329,122. Here’s how it broke down, from our latest Form 990.
57%
Programs
28%
General and administrative
15%
Fundraising
Much of the staff time counted as administrative is also spent teaching, consulting, and supporting clients. You can read our latest Form 990 or request a copy anytime.
Looking ahead to 2027
Our Community Counseling Fund and case management aren’t going anywhere. Here’s what’s new in 2027:
01
Peer Support Circle
Our first class of ten trained peer supporters graduates, ready to support friends, family, and coworkers across the valley.
02
Community mental health grants
We’re funding local mental health leaders to offer trainings, workshops, groups, and talks, growing what’s available right here at home.
03
More ways to connect
With Cameron, our new Events & Outreach Coordinator, we’re bringing ideas from our Wishlist & Dreams to life, like an Emotional First Aid vending machine and more small events with local businesses, schools, and groups across the valley.
Your support keeps all of this going.
Thank you
You showed up for Teton Valley this year. Every session, training, and conversation starts with people like you, who believe caring for our community means caring for its mental health.
With so much gratitude,

Sara White, Executive Director, and the MHC Team
