Eye Movement Densensitization & Reprocessing
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a comprehensive, integrative psychotherapy approach. It contains elements of many effective psychotherapies in structured protocols that are designed to maximize treatment effects. These include psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, experiential, and body-centered therapies. Numerous controlled studies have supported EMDR’s effectiveness in the treatment of trauma and PTSD across the lifespan.

Reality Therapy
Reality Therapy was developed by William Glasser in 1965 and is based on choice theory. This theory assigns a great deal of responsibility on the client for his/her actions and choices. Treatment episodes are quick and effective.

Equine-Assisted Therapy
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) incorporates horses experientially for emotional growth and learning. It is a collaborative effort between a licensed therapist and a horse professional working with the clients and horses to address treatment goals. Because of its intensity and effectiveness, it is considered a short-term or “brief” approach.
